Job Summary: We are seeking two compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality care and support to an elderly individual in their home. The ideal candidates must align with our mission and purpose listed above, and be patient, understanding, and experienced in elderly care, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our loved one. Ideally, the two individuals hired will alternate between daytime and nighttime shifts.
Responsibilities: ● Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting ● Perform laundry duties ● Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences ● Administer medications and monitor health conditions ● Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being ● Assist with mobility and transfers, including using mobility aids if necessary ● Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment ● Perform meal preparation tasks, including grocery shopping ● Accompany the elderly individual to medical appointments and social outings ● Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals ● Follow care plans and ensure adherence to medical instructions ● Engage in Bible study and fellowship
Qualifications: ● Must Possess a degree or higher certification in a healthcare related field ● CNA certificate or equivalent ● Previous experience in elderly care or a related field required ● Certification in CPR and First Aid required ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills ● Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in caring for the elderly ● Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and assisting with mobility ● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job site
Preferences: ● To be from one of our mission countries of Uganda and Israel

Experience: ● 2 years to 3 years in elderly caregiving or related field
Working Hours: ● Alternating shifts between day and night shifts ● Must have Flexibility with schedule with potential for frequent evenings, weekends, and holidays ● Full-time and onsite
Compensation: ● $17.40 per hour
Room and Board cost: ● $325.00 per month
