Ernie & Merrilyn Culley

Ernie, a native Texan, and Merrilyn, a New Zealand Kiwi, met in Australia shortly after Ernie’s discharge from the US Navy during the Viet Nam war. In short order Ernie got saved, they got engaged, Ernie got filled with the Holy Spirit, they were married, and headed off to Bible College in Melbourne. After Bible College, they served as missionaries for two years in Papua New Guinea before returning to the USA via Australia and New Zealand. Ernie completed his BA in theology and they were sent to South East Asia for another stint as missionaries. They served in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Visa difficulties closed the door, and they returned to the US to found a new church in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. After 8 years of ministry there, the Lord called them to Vancouver, to become the senior pastors of a large church. Upon leaving that church, God opened the door to great possibilities. A faithful group connected with the Culleys and thus was born the Life Center. They have leased a space in a business complex and continue to grow. Networking with other ministries has opened doors into South East Asia again, with Ernie & Merrilyn being involved in training church planters in "creative access" countries in that region. Ernie and Merrilyn continue to pastor together.

Jonathan & Patti Culley

Jonathan & Patti have been married for over 14 years and have four children.  They met in youth group at their church in Vancouver, and ended up taking over that youth group as youth pastors after they were married.  After a few years, and as their family started to grow, they moved to Abbotsford and Jonathan worked in a variety of jobs, while they attended a couple of different churches.  It was in Abbotsford, at the River Community Church where Jon & Patti were baptized into the "Father's Heart" message.  This along with teaching on prayer ministry transformed their marriage, home and leadership style.  While helping to lead the River, God called them back to full-time ministry at the Life Center.  They are passionate about seeing people set free through a revelation of a loving Father God, and effective ministry through prayer and Biblical teaching.
